When & Where is the next Book Sale?
Winter 2024 Book Sale Schedule
- Preview Night Wednesday 1/31, 5:30-8:30pm (entry to preview night is $20- Friends members enter free)
- Thursday, 2/1, 1:00-4:30pm
- Friday & Saturday 2/2 & 2/3, 9:00am-4:30pm
- Sunday 2/4, 1:00-4:00pm (fill a bag for one low price on the last day)
Book Sales are held on the top floor of the library in Memorial Hall.
What types of books are sold?
All types of fiction and non-fiction can be found at the book sale.
Also for sale are children's books, coffee table books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, puzzles and games.
How do you get books for the sale?
Books for the sales come from two sources, deaccessioned items from the library and donations from the public. Materials for book sales can be donated by leaving them on the table in the lower lobby outside of the Children's Room.
Where do the books go from there?
Donated materials are brought to an area where they are sorted and grouped according to subject. They are shelved by subject until the book sale when they are moved to the top floor for the sale.

Can you buy books at time other than the book sale?
A limited selection of books is available on the bottom floor of the library opposite the Children's Room. You can pay for them at the Children's Room Circulation Desk.
