Interested in getting involved? There are many opportunities to help. Friends contribute volunteer time and energy to create many programs and special events and work with Library staff to meet the needs of the community. Here are just a few possibilities for getting involved:
VOLUNTEER at any or all of the three annual book sales and the special holiday book sale. Their success depends on the efforts of more than 100 people to sell, stack, and sort thousands of books, movies, and more.
SHARE your passion and ideas by serving on the Friends' Board of Directors.
DONATE gently used books, DVDs, and CDs for our book sales. Learn which items are most helpful to us!
FUNDRAISE to provide more valuable services and programs to the Library community.
SUPPORT the library by attending Town Meeting and voting for the Library's budget.
CONNECT with the community at special events like Andover Day.
GROW the Friends' membership through membership drives and special events.
ANSWER Library surveys or serve on a focus group to help improve Library services.
TELL folks who are new to town all about the Friends and how we help the Library.
